False Bay Yacht Club

False Bay Yacht Club was founded in 1958 and moved into its present club house in 1984. The club is situated centrally in the historical naval village of Simon's Town in the South Western Corner of False Bay, which offers fantastic year round sailing. The club offers comfortable facilities and prides itself on its family atmosphere.

Visitors are most welcome and yachts up to 22M (±20 Tons) can be accommodated on either swing moorings or the walk-on marinas, with limited storage available for dinghies and canoes and the club offers junior sailing instruction in a safe environment.

The Simon’s Town Marina Company STMC was established in 2004 by the marina owners to look after the floating walk-on marinas. Their operation includes the management of the marinas, the slip and hard facilities.
