In order to be able to make an application, you need to either be a member or have an SA Sailing profile/user account.

Please ensure you have logged in before making application, at which time membership will be validated prior to the discounted rate being applied.

Non-members need to apply for a SA Sailing profile, at which point login details will be sent to you.

• For Members, SA Sailing membership can be applied or renewed for via our member registration page . Please note membership will only be activated on reciept of payment made on your behalf from your club).

NB! Before you register you must have the following documents available in electronic format for uploading:

1. A clearly recognisable copy of your ID document or Passport

2. Proof of ownership (A signed agreement or bill of sale, a builder's certificate or a certified affidavit confirming ownership)

3. Photograph of vessel

Please complete the Additional Owners Form and upload with the applicable documents. If you choose to register your vessel in the name of a Trust, Company or more than one owner. This is necessary, should the vessel be sold, we will require a signed letter from each member when the new owner registers the vessel

4. Copies of all owners ID documents or Passports

5. Letter of proxy on a letterhead, if the vessel is owned by a Company, Closed Corporation or Trust

6. Copy of Trust, Company or CC documents

7. A copy of the registration if vessel is foreign registered
