Annual SA Sailing awards for 2020 Recipients.

SA Sailing would like to take the opportunity to congratulate the following sailors who have won the annual SA Sailing awards for 2020.
Clubs and classes made their nominations and the SA Sailing Council then voted on the nominations received.
The Stan Jeffery trophy is the annual award to a single South African Yachtsman or Yachtswoman, being a member of a club affiliated to SA Sailing, who is considered to have made the most meritorious or outstanding individual contribution to the administration of the sport, in the year for which the award is made.
This year the Stan Jeffery trophy is awarded to Luke Scott
The David Butler trophy is awarded to the Junior South African sailor, being a member of a yacht club affiliated to SA Sailing, who is considered to have made the most meritorious achievement to sailing in South Africa in the year for which the award is made.
This year the David Butler trophy is awarded to Nicola Sadler – 26 years after her mother was awarded the same trophy.
The Gordon Burnwood and Owen Aisher trophies are not awarded this year owing to no nominations.
