Kirsten Neuschäfer nominated for SA Sports Award – get your vote in!

The accolades keep coming for incredible Gqeberha sailor Kirsten Neuschäfer who made history in winning last year’s Golden Globe solo round-the-world race.

She’s already been named the female 2023 Rolex World Sailor of the Year by World Sailing and was also nominated for a prestigious Laureus award.

Now Neuschäfer’s name is among those nominated for the SA Sports Awards. The 41-year-old star has been nominated in two categories – Sportswoman of the Year and the People’s Choice Award. This is where you come in. The winner of the People’s Choice award is voted for by the public.
