And, just like that, we have reached the end of another term of office.
I need to thank each of you for your support, and the generosity of spirit with which you have accepted my attempts at steering this organisation through the past year.
With the approaching AGM, my thoughts have been focused on the many and varied dimensions of South African Sailing and the plethora of interests and perspectives that we as a sports federation seek to represent. So, we represent sailing. Surely that’s not hard…. There is racing and cruising. There are inland components and offshore components. There are dinghies, keel boats and multihulls….and boards, kites and wing foilers. Sometimes the interests converge, and sometimes, they seem to be diametrically opposed... Read more...
