World Sailing accreditation renewal taking place – Recognised Training Centre Inspection & Renewing of Certifications (Centres & Instructors)

World Sailing will be coming to South Africa this year to conduct their inspection of the SA Sailing National Training Programme. The inspection process will include a visit to the SA Sailing office and a minimum of two visits to selected RTC centres around the country. Centres are requested to please do the necessary to prepare for the audit:

  • Ensure the venue and training programmes run are ready to be reviewed in line with the SA Sailing Recognition Guidelines and centre SLA
  • Expect, if selected, that World Sailing will be looking to inspect while training is underway
  • Accreditations of individuals needing to be renewed can be done via this link

It should be noted that centres who did not renew their RTC status before 31 December 2022 have been removed from the SA Sailing RTC list until such time as they make application again. As such, they will not be considered for the World Sailing visit.

RTC status is renewable each year before 31 December. Click here to renew.
